Planning for a long day: labs, iron infusion, and vascular studies. Hoping to find a vein in Mary Ashley that is strong enough to support access for hemodialysis. The peritoneal dialysis we have been doing is no working very well anymore, and her nutritional status has declined significantly. We are also in the process of trying to get her listed in multiple states to help find a donor. We need to find a kidney soon for this sweet girl.
