Update from Charlene — Yesterday was a tough day. Dialysis did not go very well despite us trying many things, Mary Ashley felt bad, and was having a lot of pain. I was frustrated with not being able to make things better for her, feeling bad that I haven’t been able to spend much time with Alli and Dalton, and to be honestly, I was just angry that Mary Ashley has to go through so much. I know many people can relate to wanting so badly to make someone better, and despite all of your efforts, it doesn’t work. However, thanks to super nurse and friend Sharon Maralit, I was able to get a good night’s sleep, and I have a much better attitude today! I going to do my very best to try this all again and give my kiddos a good day no matter what it holds . I know she will get the perfect kidney that she needs! Hopefully soon . Time to put the tears away and pull up my big girl panties!!
